The War Horse Plinth.

Work has begun by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to erect the 3 metres high plinth our Monument will stand on. It will have a specialist off-white finish, like church gravestones and two tiered York stone steps which, with bronze lettering, will look very smart. The War Horse is almost as tall again. Once completed it will dominate the Heatherwood roundabout which is the gateway to Ascot in Berkshire.
