MP’s from all parties congratulated The War Horse Memorial at Prime Minister’s Questions yesterday (Wednesday, June 6, 2018). Adam Afryie, MP for Windsor and special ambassador to the project, told the House about the Memorial and how it honours the horses of the First World War and the service and sacrifice they gave to secure our democracy and freedom. The Prime Minister responded warmly – even telling members that a maquette, a scaled down model of our War Horse Poppy, was on display at 10 Downing Street.
